This is the original location of The Croissant Tree, which opened in 1981. Freshly-baked butter croissants are the speciality- including whole wheat, bacon with cheese, chocolate, cinnamon and many more croissant varieties- as well as danishes, muffins, turnovers and cookies.
Accompaniments are cappuccino, espresso and cafe au lait. Other coffees include The Croissant Tree house blend, two Colombian brews (Colombian Brown & Colombian Black), six flavoured coffees and decaffeinated.
For a taste of adventure, Torani and Gourmet coffee flavourings (in more than 20 flavours) come gratis.
In addition to the sweets, there are sandwiches on croissants, German-style breads, bagels, soups and salads. Sells coffee theme t-shirts and mugs. Frequented by office workers, shoppers and Ryerson students.
Menu differs from other locations. So are the specials. Internet available to patrons at NO extra charge...

Catering services and coffee sold by the pound are available.

Unique feature - a smoking room! For 12 people at the time...
